Sunless tanning is becoming increasingly more popular with the public. It is a safer method of obtaining an all over tan and can be applied in minutes. For the salon and mobile therapist is it extremely cost effective and can be very profitable. However, like all other treatments, the outcome can be disappointing without proper training. The Irish Academy of Training have teamed up with an international supplier of spray tanning products to assist persons in the quality application of spray tanning.

Course Details:

This one day training course will focus on the practical elements of spray tanning with discussion on industry trends, methods and techniques of sunless tanning, health & safety, common mistakes and how to fix them. Participants will receive a certificate from the Irish Academy of Training. Places are limited for this course.

Tanning Products & Equipment

All equipment and products required for training will be supplied by the college however if participants require they may place an order for machines or products at great prices on the day.

• Student starter kit - a small hand held spray tanning machine with 1 litre of tan - cost €200
• Professional kit - Heavy duty mobile spray tan machine with 1 litre of tan - cost €350
• Tanning Tent - Pop up tan tent - cost €240
